A motorcyclist has been injured after being involved in a collision with a truck in Warwick this morning.

The accident happened near the junction of Khyber Pass and Smith’s Avenue, with the rider of the bike receiving “potentially serious injuries”.

A police spokesman said at 9.40am: “Motorists intending to travel through that area of Warwick are being advised to take alternate routes where possible, while the scene is processed.”

Police at 1.30pm thanked drivers for their patience and said the road was now clear.

Any witnesses are encouraged to call the Bermuda Police Service on 211.
