The field at Victor Scott Primary School came alive with cheering spectators yesterday [THURS] for the Pembroke school’s annual sports day.
Kennelyn Smith, the principal, said the day came with a mixture of fun and competitive races to showcase the talents of children from years P1 through P6.
She added: “We also throw in some parents’ races.”
The competition came down to Victor Scott Primary’s gold house and blue house.
Ms Smith said pupils who excelled would be able to try out for the inter school sports.
