Saturday collision remains under investigation
An investigation into a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Warwick is ongoing, police said yesterday.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said the pedestrian, a 31-year-old man, was injured in the incident at about 3.15pm on Saturday on Middle Road, near Watch Hill Lane.
The man, who was understood to have been visiting from Britain, was treated by emergency medics at the scene.
He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further care and later discharged.
The BPS spokesman added that the driver of the car, an 83-year-old Warwick man, was not hurt.
Traffic in the area was diverted for about three hours while officers processed the scene.
Police thanked witnesses who came forward and encouraged anyone else with information to contact Constable Shayna Simmons on 211 or by e-mail at ssimmons@bps.bm.
