Rize Technologies supports Vision Bermuda charity
Rize Technologies is providing comprehensive technological support to Vision Bermuda, enhancing their service capabilities and improving accessibility for the visually impaired.
Rize Technologies offers help-desk support, Microsoft Azure expertise, Windows desktop support, networking, door access and security cameras to the charity dedicated to supporting individuals with vision impairments.
Gilbert A. Darrell, the Rize founder, said the partnership involved a cause particularly meaningful and deeply personal to him because his late grandfather, Gilbert O. Darrell, former longtime Member of Parliament, suffered from vision issues.
The services provided by Rize Technologies will ensure that both the staff and those needing Vision Bermuda’s services have access to reliable and innovative technology solutions.
Mr Darrell said: “We are proud to volunteer our services to Vision Bermuda, a charity that aligns with our commitment to helping those with health challenges in Bermuda. Our advanced technology solutions are designed to empower Vision Bermuda’s staff and clients, fostering independence and improving quality of life for the visually impaired."
Rize Technologies is a technology integrator and managed service provider with expertise spanning PCs, servers, networking and cloud services.
Mr Darrell said: “We hold certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper and other leading brands of hardware and software. As proud Google Partners, we leverage cloud technology and AI to bring modern solutions to business problems.”
Vision Bermuda provides essential services and support to individuals with vision impairments. Their newly reopened Beacon House offers comprehensive facilities for vision assessments, mobility training, and community activities, ensuring that people with low vision can lead independent and fulfilling lives.
