New partnership enhances upcoming fintech course
The Government’s Economic Development Department is partnering with global education platform CFTE to enhance its fintech training programme, registration for which ends today.
CFTE focuses on the future of financial services.
Company cofounder Tram Anh Nguyen said she was thrilled by a partnership that would produce the next generation of fintech leaders.
“This initiative will provide Bermuda’s learners with cutting-edge fintech education, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to excel and to thrive in the fast-evolving financial sector,” she said.
During the course, university students will learn about the latest trends in finance, technology and fintech.
“We are very impressed that the Bermuda Government is innovating and trying new pedagogical methods to bring the best to their students,” she said.
Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, thanked CFTE for working alongside the Bermuda Government on the training programme.
“I also want to thank the team from the EDD for their ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for Bermudians to become equipped with the necessary skills needed in Bermuda’s burgeoning fintech sector,” he said.
