The Bermuda Cannabis Association is to offer a virtual training session to provide an overview of medical cannabis.

The BCA said the course was designed to provide businesses and investors with cutting-edge insights from the forefront of cannabis research, featuring guest speaker Chris Tasker, who is the founder and chief executive of Global Cannabinoid Solutions, a UK-based firm.

A BCA spokeswoman described Mr Tasker as “a master of cannabinoid research”.

Organisers said the course would provide a comprehensive overview of medical cannabis, insights from the latest cannabinoid research, and a 30-minute question and answer session.

The 90-minute event on June 10 will start at 10am and include a ten-question quiz. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate. Those scoring eight out of ten or higher on the quiz will receive a badge from the BCA that provides discounts for future courses or workshops.

Registration is Thursday via the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce website.
