Greens donate to Bahamas relief
The Green family, owners of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, has stepped in to cover the $15,000 shortfall in funds needed to send additional hurricane relief to the Bahamas.
The move comes following an announcement by Wayne Caines, Minister of National Security, that there were insufficient resources to send a second consignment.
Mr Caines said: “We are deeply grateful for the continued generosity of the Green family. With their support, we are delighted to be able to support the Bahamas in their recovery from Hurricane Dorian.”
Andrew Green, on behalf of the Green family, added: “We are pleased to be able to support the efforts of the generous Bermudian public in sending relief aid to our Bahamian friends and we are proud to be able to play our part.”
