The eastbound turning lane of Stowe Hill at The Lane in Paget has been closed.

The Ministry of Public works said that the emergency closure is to facilitate Belco trench works which are expected to continue until Saturday.

A spokesman said: “The lane closure is essential to facilitate Belco's trench work and requires immediate attention. It will be in effect from 7.30am to 5pm daily.

“Belco representatives will oversee traffic management during this period, utilising barricades and cones to ensure the safety and smooth traffic flow.

“Motorists are urged to exercise caution and follow the directions provided by the traffic control personnel on-site.”

Questions regarding these works can be directed to Ian Finnerty, the field operations lead at Belco, at 295-5111.
