Concert Group appoints Charles Rawlins

Concert Group Holdings Inc has appointed Charles Rawlins as senior vice president, Property Underwriting and Programme Management.

Mr Rawlins, who reports to chief underwriting officer Joe Alberti, is responsible for underwriting and programme oversight on various programmes, with a primary focus on growing a profitable book of property driven business.

He joins Concert from the Lloyd’s underwriting consortia Brace, where he was co-founder and chief executive officer, and Brace USA where he was CEO.

The company said Mr Rawlins began his almost 20 years of industry experience as a broker at Willis in London with responsibility for US property which was followed by underwriting roles at Ace Global Markets (now Chubb Global Markets).

He then held underwriting and management positions at Hiscox London Market where his book of business included property, war, terrorism and political violence as well as power and mining and upstream energy.
