Coleman Johnson leaves Canopius for TMG

Coleman Johnson, formerly the chief underwriting officer for US and Bermuda at Canopius, has been appointed senior vice president and chief underwriting officer at TMG Insurance Services LLC, the integrated insurance operations platform serving the mutual industry.
The company said Mr Johnson will lead the strategy, governance, and performance of underwriting functions for The Mutual Group, driving profitability and growth for the company and its mutual insurance members.
Before joining Canopius, Mr Johnson held roles of increasing seniority at Liberty Mutual, most recently as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for the US Middle Market business.
