The RG/BSX Index closed today at 2,685.26, up 187.85 points (7.52 per cent).
Some 3,000 shares in Argus Group Holdings Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $6.30, up $1.13 (21.9 per cent).
Also on the BSX, some 1,206 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd were traded. The stock closed at $38, up $3 (8.6 per cent).
Overseas, the bank closed up 96 cents (2.56 per cent) at $38.47 on the New York Stock Exchange.
