Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda has donated to two charities nominated by the firm’s staff.

The Women’s Resource Centre and Bermuda Education Network will both benefit from the donation.

Sylvia Oliveira, chief executive of Wilton Re Bermuda, said: “Wilton Re Bermuda remains dedicated to our community and the principle of giving our time and financial support.

“These two charities have personally impacted members of our team, who have chosen to direct our corporate donations to support the worthy missions of BEN and the WRC this year.”

Brendan Kemp, the chief financial officer of Wilton Re Bermuda, added: “Our firm’s and our Bermuda based staff’s philanthropic commitment to help improve the lives of all Bermudians is seen as a crucial responsibility to the community.”

Incorporated in 2005, Wilton Re Bermuda is an A-rated life and annuity reinsurer.

The WRC provides support and resources to help women thrive and contribute to the community while BEN aims to build a professional learning community that increases the services and opportunities for public school pupils.
