Sincere Hall on target for Hull against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce
Sincere Hall continued his superb pre-season form, netting Hull City’s consolation goal in a 5-1 defeat to Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe in Turkey on Thursday.
The Bermudian forward entered the fray as a 68th minute substitute with his side trailing 5-0 and scored just six minutes later to deny their Turkish rivals a clean sheet in Fenerbahce’s final pre-season friendly before the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Lugano next week.
Hall converted his second goal in as many outings when he won possession and exchanged passes with fellow forward Ryan Longman before calmly slotting past Fenerbahce goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.
Edin Dzeko led the way for Fenerbahce with two goals while Sebastian Szymanski, Fred Santos and Hakan Yandas were also on target.
Hall’s goal was his second in five days after he grabbed a late equaliser to salvage a 1-1 draw for Hull City in their first preseason friendly against Turkish Süper Lig outfit Kasimpasa last Saturday.
