Clarien Bank has appointed Lola Myshketa as its new senior vice-president, head of private banking, the company said today.

According to a statement, Ms Myshketa will spearhead the strategic expansion of the bank’s private banking business, working with the executive team to enhance business development within the wealth management division and help “elevate Clarien’s brand presence in the global market”.

“Her diverse international experience, combined with a profound understanding of the private banking landscape, makes her the perfect leader to drive our strategic ambitions in the wealth management space.

Ms Myshketa’s journey in the finance world began in 1997 in Albania and took her through significant roles in Canada and Bermuda, culminating in her latest tenure as a sought-after consultant in Dubai.

Her academic background includes a master's degree in banking and finance from Bocconi University, Milan, and a financial management adviser designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.

Ms Myshketa’s appointment is effective immediately.
