Fine for man who crashed while sleeping at the wheel

A driver who fell asleep at the wheel and crashed his car into a wall in Sandys has been fined $800.
Nathan Steede, 27, admitted driving without due care and attention when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The court heard that Steede, from Sandys, crashed into a wall along Somerset Road after he fell asleep at the wheel in April.
Steede also received ten demerit points on his licence.
