Ministry of Public Works confirms garbage collection schedule for Cup Match
The island’s waste collection schedule will be adjusted next week for the Cup Match holiday, the Ministry of Public Works announced yesterday.
Garbage normally collected on Thursdays and Fridays will instead be collected on August 3.
Residents can also take household waste, recycling and bulky items to the Tynes Bay public drop-off site between 9am and noon on August 1 and 2.
Next week is not a recycling collection week.
