The nine-week programme aimed to equip all participants with new skills and learning opportunities in a professional environment to help prepare them for future employment.

The students in this year’s cohort were Cairi Albuoy, St Mary’s University; Brianna Benevides, Dalhousie University and 2023 Butterfield Undergraduate Scholar; Alessandro Davis, Oakwood University; Seth Malpas, Dalhousie University; Nathan Leite, Wilfred Laurier University; Jade Fubler, Bermuda College; Sasha Griffin, Bermuda College; Rajan Patton, University of South Florida; Yanik Smith, University of Ottawa; Yvé Smith, University of Western Ontario; Taisheka Talbot, Nottingham Trent University; and Nadhiri Worrell, University of Leicester.
Denneeka Crockwell, Butterfield’s VP of human resources in Bermuda, said: “We congratulate and thank all of our summer interns for their hard work throughout the programme and wish them every success as they return to their studies.
“A highlight of this year was the ‘Inclusion Fusion’ event, which was organised and hosted by the interns themselves as part of a collaborative assignment.
“The event was a great success and featured OutBermuda and Curb. Our interns should feel incredibly proud of the contribution they made during their time with us this summer.”
