Jonelle Horta joins Axis Capital
Axis Capital Group has appointed industry veteran Jonelle Horta as head of Cyber Resiliency Services on its Cyber Risk Advisory team.
Her previous career appointments include 12 years at Allied World before leaving in 2020.
Ms Horta most recently served as head of Product Solutions and Strategic Insights at Converge, the insurtech with offices in New York and San Francisco.
The company said she will lead the delivery and development of specialty solutions aimed at boosting the resiliency of customers against fast-evolving cyber risks.
David Shluger, head of Axis Cyber Risk Advisory, said: “Jonelle will also be at the forefront of ensuring cyber customers and brokers have full knowledge of, and access to, our range of services – from threat intelligence through to Axis Safe Room, and a lot more, in between.
“In partnership with the wider global cyber division at Axis, Jonelle’s extensive expertise – in cyber security and insurance, product development and customer delivery – will be invaluable as Axis expands and elevates the cyber risk solutions we deliver to customers, brokers, and our underwriters.”
