HSBC shares gain 4.1% on BSX

No domestic companies’ shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, leaving The Royal Gazette/BSX Index unchanged on 2,073.13.
Among international companies with a BSX listing, HSBC Holdings gained 30 cents, or 4.1 per cent, to close on $7.60 as 1,050 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 45 cents, or 1.43 per cent, to close on $31.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Butterfield last traded at $30 on the BSX.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 1.75 points, or 0.1 per cent, to close on 1,734.16.
