Enrique Russell and Willie Clemons recalled to Bermuda squad
Coach Michael Findlay has named his 23-man squad for this week’s Nations League qualifiers against Antigua & Barbuda and Dominican Republic.
PHC striker Enrique Russell has been recalled to the senior squad as Findlay searches for a proven goalscorer after his side struggled to find the back of the net despite creating multiple opportunities in World Cup qualifiers against Antigua and Honduras in June.
Willie Clemons, who had surgery to repair a cruciate ligament injury last October is also back in the squad.
Milai Perott, who signed for English League Two side Notts County last year, replaces Andrew Kempe as one of three goalkeepers in the squad alongside Dale Eve and Detre Bell.
PHC captain Daren Usher, Kosi Basden and Zhani Burgess have been called up in defence, with Caleb McDowell and Reese Jones dropping out.
Blaiz Hall is also in contention for a cap but there is no place in the squad for Djair Parfitt, Zeiko Lewis, Sachiel Ming, Remy Coddington and Deion Swan-DeSilva, who all featured in Findlay’s last squad.
Bermuda play Dominican Republic in Antigua on Saturday before facing Antigua on Tuesday.
