Jacob King joined the parts department for the duration of the summer while Khyari Tacklyn-Smith and Jason Lines assisted the carwash.

Returning summer student Amari Stewart has now embarked on an apprenticeship with Auto Solutions to further develop his industry skills, while Mount Saint Agnes Academy student Sir Devent assisted the workshop technicians following a two-year apprenticeship during the school year.

Sir said: “I aspire to be an electrical mechanical engineer and I am grateful to Auto Solutions for helping me start my career pathway.”

Jahmal Watts, Auto Solutions service manager said his team enjoyed working with the summer students.

“The students have all impressed us with their strong work ethic, eagerness to learn new skills and commitment to their development,” Mr Watts said.

The firm’s managing director Glen Smith said Auto Solutions believes in nurturing the next generation of professionals with real-world experience.

He said: “This summer’s cohort of students has learnt the intricacies of dealership operations and witnessed first-hand how teamwork and collaboration drive success in any industry.
