A man was fined $300 in Magistrates’ Court for having drug equipment.

Mikhail Butterfield, 34, admitted having the item, made from a sparkplug and steel wool, when he appeared in court yesterday.

The court heard that police found the equipment while searching Butterfield on King Street in December.

Magistrate Maria Sofianos ordered that Butterfield, from Pembroke, pay the fine by October 3.
