Residents asked for thoughts on chain link fencing
A survey has been launched by the Department of Planning on the use of chain link fencing next to public roads.
Feedback is expected to help shape future policies.
A statement from the Government said: “While this type of fencing serves functional purposes, the materials, design and style can have a significant impact on the visual appeal and character of our unique island environment.
“This survey has been designed to gather public feedback on the use of chain link fencing and its various design options.
“Your feedback will be instrumental in shaping the department’s future policies on this matter.”
The survey is available on the planning department’s website at planning.gov.bm and on its Facebook page.
It will be available for two months from today.
The statement added: “Completing the survey will only take a few minutes.
“The Department of Planning encourages everyone to take part in the survey and is grateful for the public’s participation and contributions on this topic.”
