Kendaree Burgess to appear on Citywealth Forum panel
Kendaree Burgess, chief operating officer of the Bermuda Business Development Agency, is to appear on a panel at the Citywealth Forum in London in May.
Citywealth is an award-winning media and events company for the global wealth management industry.
Organisers said Ms Burgess will present an update on the role of Bermuda as a key international financial centre in the prevailing geopolitical and economic climate.
She’ll be joined in the debate by Joe Moynihan, chief executive of Jersey Finance; Sarah Bartram-Lora Reina, trustee director at family office Stonehage Fleming and president of Jersey Association of Trust Companies; Kenneth Ler from the Singapore Economic Development Board; and Marios Tannousis, chief executive of Invest Cyprus.
The keynote speaker at the annual event, which addresses topics relevant to wealth management, is to be Penny Mordaunt, a UK Parliamentarian for 14 years, and the first and only woman to be Secretary of State for Defence as well as the first and only woman to be Minister for the Armed Forces.
Citywealth said: “She is well remembered for stealing the show as the elegant and dignified sword bearer at the Coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, in her role of Leader of the Commons and Lord President of the Council.”
The Forum will be moderated by Karen Jones, chief executive of Citywealth, and Penny James, managing director at Barclays Private Bank.
It will be chaired by Joshua Rubenstein, partner at New York based law firm Katten Muchin Rosenmann.
The event will take place next May.
