Adam Birch has been named Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty’s top sales and rental agent for the 2023-2024 year.

Mr Birch received his award from president and chief executive officer Brian Madeiros during the company’s annual meeting at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

“Adam’s dedication and consistent performance solidified his position as a leader in the industry, year after year,” Mr Madeiros said.

In an interview in May, Mr Birch told The Royal Gazette he has often gone above and beyond what was required to move a piece of real estate.

“Sometimes during the sale of a house things come to a stalemate. The purchaser wants the owner to power wash the drive or have the property cleaned and the owner refuses,” he said.

“To move transactions along I have mowed lawns and power washed driveways, myself.

“I have arranged for house cleaners. It can be the littlest things that the deal gets stuck on.”

Angela Hanwell and Heather Chilvers placed second and third, respectively in the sales and rental agent category. Phil Matthews received the highest revenue award.

Myles Gibbons, senior land surveyor at Bermuda Realty, received the increase revenue award, recognised for achieving the greatest year-over-year increase in revenue.

"After 33 years, it is gratifying to still be breaking new ground and achieving growth,“ he said.
