Police: rider injured on Monday remains in hospital

A senior hurt in a crash near Barnes Corner in Southampton on Monday morning is being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for injuries described as non-life threatening.
Police said the man, 67, from Sandys, was recovering after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer truck at about 9am at the junction of Middle Road and South Road.
The collision remains under investigation.
Police asked for any witnesses who have not already come forward to call Pc Jamieko Smith on 211, or e-mail jamieko.smith@bps.bm.
