St George’s oral health clinic reopens
The Government has announced the reopening of the oral health clinic at the St George’s Health Centre.
The facility on Old Military Road offers preventive, restorative and curative oral health services to children aged 18 years and under.
The services are also offered to seniors 65 and over as well as priority groups including people in congregate settings and those who are uninsured.
Dental services will be provided at the centre on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.45am to 4.30pm and on Fridays from 8.45am to 1pm.
Kim Wilson, the Minister of Health, said the facility was temporarily closed for 12 months while the ministry worked to recruit qualified dentists.
She added: “We appreciate the public's understanding and patience as we navigated a period of staffing changes.
“We are pleased to announce that the clinic will now reopen and return to full operation.”
