Watch: bowler David Maycock on hunt for medals in Peru
Bowler David Maycock is in the hunt for two medals at the Panam Champion of Champions in Peru.
Maycock sits in bronze-medal position after the first day of singles competition in Lima, with a total pin count of 1,693, with the second day of action starting at 5pm Bermuda time on Wednesday.
The Bermudian is also in contention for a medal in the All Events category, which combines the scores of singles and doubles competition. Maycock is fourth in the standings on 3,225, just 11 behind Chris Via, of the United States in third.
It has been already been a successful trip to Peru for the Bermuda team, with Maycock and LeVinc Samuels, finishing fifth of the 17 teams in the doubles competition.
Samuels is 26th in the singles competition and 25th in the All Events.
