Motorists warned over Warwick roadworks

Motorists are being warned of rolling single-lane closures for underground cable repairs by Belco on Middle Road.

A Ministry of Public Works spokesman said the closures would be between Burnt House Hill and Longford Road, Warwick, starting today.

“These lane closures will operate daily from 8am to 5pm. Belco representatives will oversee traffic management, including deploying barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones to ensure safety and efficiency during the repair operations,” the spokesman said.

“Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the affected area and utilise alternative routes via South Road to minimise disruption and delays.

“Please anticipate increased travel times and exercise heightened caution for those who must travel through the closure zone.”
