Former Ace executive to join Council of Lloyd’s
Liberty Corporate Capital Ltd, represented by Jane Warren, has been elected as a corporate external member of the Council of Lloyd’s.
The term of office, which is to begin on February 1, 2025, will be for three years.
Ms Warren is an active underwriter for Syndicate 4472 at Lloyd’s, board director of Liberty Corporate Capital Ltd, chief underwriting officer and board director at Liberty Managing Agency Ltd, UK Legal Entities managing director at Liberty Specialty Markets, and branch manager (UK) for Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe.
She is also a board member of the Lloyd’s Market Association, a member of the Lloyd’s sustainability committee and a member of the London Market Group.
Her previous career posts include product line head for aviation, satellite and reinsurance at Ace Bermuda International and Ace Tempest Bermuda from 1999 until 2004.

“She brings a wealth of experience from time spent in both the London and Bermuda markets and has helped lead and effect genuine and lasting cultural change through her executive sponsorship of DEI initiatives at Liberty.
“I look forward to welcoming Jane to the Council of Lloyd’s and working together.”
The Council has 15 members split between six elected members (three working and three external), three executives (chief executive, chief financial officer, chief of markets) and six nominated members.
Nominated members of Council are Lloyd’s equivalent to independent non-executive directors.
Members of Council serve for three-year terms, renewable up to a total of nine years.
