Where’s the desire to tidy this street?

Libby Madeiros says this Devonshire streetlamp has been in such condition since the passage of Hurricane Ernesto in August

Dear Sir,

The photograph here is of a streetlamp — pole and light fixture — taken this morning (October 14, 2024) on Cavendish Road, opposite Grosvenor Court.

This streetlamp has been on the sidewalk since Hurricane Ernesto brought it down on August 17 — almost two months ago!

I don’t know who is responsible for that area, but I assume it’s the Department of Works and Engineering. That probably explains why it’s still there.

If it is not going to be repaired, then please pick it up. It looks like we just don’t care.

And we do care. Don’t we?
