Man accused of road death, dangerous driving
A man will appear in the Supreme Court next year after he was accused of causing a woman’s death as a result of a road traffic crash.
Calin Maybury, 29, was charged in Magistrates’ Court with causing the death of Troni Robinson-Burgess, 22, by driving while impaired.
He was also charged with causing her death by dangerous driving and failing to comply with a demand for a sample of blood for alcohol analysis.
The incident was alleged to have happened on July 29, 2022, in Southampton.
Mr Maybury did not have to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Mr Maybury, from Devonshire, was released on $25,000 bail and his case was adjourned until the January Supreme Court session.
