A drive to inspire residents to improve their health and wellbeing has been launched by community action group Bermuda Is Love.

The #YourHealthYourFuture campaign will run throughout November and features a diverse range of activities, resources and community events.

Included in the sessions are educational workshops and fitness activities designed to equip people with the knowledge, resources and motivation to lead healthier lives.

A spokesman for Bermuda Is Love said: “Health is one of the most precious assets we possess, shaping nearly every aspect of our lives.

“Yet, in a world where success is often measured by achievements, wealth and status, health sometimes becomes an afterthought.

“With Bermuda’s rising rates of lifestyle-related illnesses, including heart disease and diabetes, Bermuda Is Love is focused on bringing health to the forefront of public discourse, advocating for a future where everyone can thrive.

“This campaign is about empowering each Bermudian to make informed choices that support a healthier, longer life.

“When we prioritise health, we secure a future of productivity, happiness, resilience and longevity.

“When we prioritise our health and wellbeing, our future as a community is brighter.”

Everyone in Bermuda was invited to participate by taking charge of their health through events, following the campaign on social media and encouraging friends and family to get involved.
