BUEI lecture to dive into shipwrecks
People can learn more about local shipwrecks at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute this week.
Professor Edward Shultz will discuss this topic during A Half Century Under the Sea: 50 years of Diving In Bermuda’s Waters on Thursday.
A BUEI spokeswoman said the presentation will feature “exciting stories and remarkable photographs [from Dr Shultz] that chronicle his 50-year odyssey of exploring the wrecks around Bermuda”.
Dr Shultz has explored local waters on board the Miss Wendy, Shearwater and other vessels.
Tickets for the lecture, which will be held in the Tradewinds Auditorium at 7pm, are $20 for BUEI members, $25 for non-members and $10 for students with a valid ID.
• To learn more or get tickets for the talk, go to buei.bm or ptix.bm, visit BUEI’s Oceans gift shop or call 294-0204
