Today’s sitting of the Senate has been postponed to November 27.
A government spokeswoman said the meeting was rescheduled owing to a lack of running water at Veritas Place.
Several items were listed for today’s session, including announcements about tourism investment orders, and an update on sports policy, from Owen Darrell, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
It was also expected that senators would consider the 2024 Speech from the Throne, delivered this month by Rena Lalgie, the Governor.
