Ap Owen Road to close for drilling
Part of a road in Smith’s will be closed for two days, the Ministry of Public Works said.
A ministry spokesman said the most southern end of the Collector’s Hill Apothecary parking lot to 19 Ap Owen Road will be closed on November 28 and 29 so that a bore hole can be redrilled in the area.
Work will be carried out from 7.30am to 4pm on both days, but traffic can enter through the apothecary and Speciality Inn parking areas during this time.
Representatives from Atlantic Water Development Management will manage traffic in the area with cones, signs and barricades, but motorists should travel along the eastern route between the gardens to access properties on the road.
The spokesman thanked the public for their co-operation and apologised for any inconvenience.
