The remaining bottles of Gosling’s Papa Seal Single Barrel Rum from this year’s allocation will be available in the company’s stores beginning on Saturday morning.

A company spokesman said the limited pre-order allocation sold out in record time on Monday.

Malcolm Gosling Jr, president of Gosling’s Export (Bermuda) Ltd, said: “Our first release in 2018 saw one barrel sell out in just 45 minutes on a rainy Tuesday morning. Initially, we had only one barrel for Bermuda and a few for international markets.

“Today, to meet local demand, we ensure that at least two barrels are reserved for Bermuda, regardless of the total allocation.”

Gosling’s said it is also launching its 2024 Christmas sweaters alongside the rum.

Visitors to the Dundonald Street store in Hamilton on Saturday will enjoy complimentary rum and wine tastings, festive treats, and more, whether collecting a pre-ordered bottle or purchasing this year’s Papa Seal.

The first 30 customers who spend $300 or more will receive a Lina Gosling tote bag, which the company values at $75.

Gosling’s Papa Seal Single Barrel Rum will be available at both Gosling’s Ltd retail locations in Hamilton, Dundonald Street and Queen Street, on Saturday beginning at 10am.
