Clarien Bank has launched its annual Holiday Giveback Campaign.

Since its inception in 2010, the campaign has raised more than $120,000 for Meals on Wheels, a charity for the sick, elderly and disabled.

It delivers hundreds of nutritious meals four times a week and provides “an all-important check-in” for those in need.

Michael DeCouto, Clarien Bank's executive vice-president, and chief digital and marketing officer, said: “Community spirit is woven into the fabric of Clarien Bank’s ethos.

“The Holiday Giveback Campaign is a reflection of our dedication to being more than a bank in Bermuda — it's an opportunity to touch lives, foster hope and provide sustenance beyond monetary means.

“Our longstanding partnership with Meals on Wheels underscores this mission, proving that together, we can turn challenges into chances for positive change."

Clarien is inviting the public to donate.

How to donate

The Clarien Foundation will match all donations up to $10,000, ensuring Meals on Wheels can “keep the wheels moving”.

Jason Powell, the president of Meals on Wheels, said: "Each holiday season, we see a heart-warming surge in community collaboration, and the generous donation from Clarien Bank's giveback programme is instrumental in sustaining our efforts.

“With the heightened demand during this time of year, your generosity enables us to meet the increased need for our services, ensuring no member of our community goes without a meal or a friendly visit.

“We are deeply grateful for the enduring support of Clarien Bank, their employees’ volunteerism and everyone’s contributions that aid us in offering this vital service."

Donations should be made by 4pm on December 31.
