Police investigate crash in Flatts Village

Three people were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after a crash in Smith’s yesterday.
A police spokesman said a 36-year-old woman was struck by a motorcycle while trying to cross the street near the junction of North Shore Road with Jennings Road at about 8.40am.
It is understood that the pedestrian, from Pembroke, along with the rider, a 60-year-old man from Devonshire, and his pillion passenger, a 39-year-old Hamilton Parish man, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation and any witnesses who have not already come forward should call 211 or e-mail Pc Michelle Berkeley at mberkeley@bps.bm.
