Charity to host solar panel discussion

A solar panel discussion hosted by Bermuda Is Love will tackle the technology’s fundamentals (Photograph supplied)

A charity will host a panel talk tomorrow to break down the basics of solar panels.

The four-person discussion, hosted by Bermuda Is Love, will explain how the energy panels work, how they can save money for residents and their effects on the environment.

A spokesman for the charity said it was hoped that the event would demystify the technology and show that solar panels were not “just for big companies or for those who are wealthy”.

The discussion will feature professionals from BE Solar, Sunny Side Solar and Greenlight Energy, all under the moderation of William Campbell from Bermuda Is Love.

It will end with a question-and-answer session to address any concerns from the public.

The free panel discussion will be held tomorrow at Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church from 6pm to 8pm.
