Turning 65 not as special as advertised

Dear Sir,
I was really looking forward to receiving my “Special Person’s Card” on reaching 65 years of age.
Imagine my disappointment on finding out that it is now a “Seniors ID Card”.
Flourishing it no longer says, “Look at me, I’m special” but “Look at me, I’m old”.
To add insult to injury, despite receiving, at the same time, an almost identical driver’s licence for free, I had to pay $8.11 for my oldies card.
If that isn’t ageist, then I don’t know what is.
Yours with the wrinkles.
