No parking will be permitted along a section of Headquarters Hill, Devonshire from December 18, the Ministry of Public Works said.

The ministry said the measure is to assist the Bermuda Police Service in accessing its headquarters at Prospect.

The ‘no parking’ area will extend from Headquarters Hill, from the junction of Gymnasium Road, to the junction of Fort Hill Road.

The restriction takes effect at 1pm on December 18 and will remain in place permanently.

A ministry spokesman said that vehicles found parked within the restricted area will be ticketed by the police.

Motorists were advised to adhere to the changes for improved access and safety.
