The end of a month-long strike by Canada Post has opened the way for mail delivery from the island, the Bermuda Post Office has advised.

Mail to Canada is set to resume on Monday, after the country’s federal labour relations board ordered its postal staff to return to work.

The BPO advised customers to plan for deliveries from Bermuda to be slower than usual because of lingering backlogs in Canada’s network.

After processing and transport arrangements are made, all Bermuda deliveries will be forwarded on a rolling basis.
