Myron Hendry has joined the board of Bermudian-based Enstar Group Ltd as a class II director, the company announced.

Mr Hendry, 70, whose appointment is effective on July 1, was most recently executive vice-president and chief platform officer of XL Catlin from 2009 to 2018.

He also served as director on the XL India Business Services Private Ltd board and was chairman of the XL Catlin Corporate Crisis Committee responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Enstar, a global run-off specialist whose head office is in Windsor Place on Queen Street, Hamilton, said Mr Hendry will serve on the company’s Nominating and

Governance Committee and its Risk Committee.
