Court appearances are expected for two people from Sandys after a car went into a traffic light pole just before the weekend in Hamilton.
Police said a car was damaged along with the pole and lights after it crashed on 9.25pm on Friday.
The driver, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after hitting the lights at the junction of Par-la-Ville Road and Church Street.
A passenger in the car, believed to be 25, was arrested for obstruction.
There were no reported injuries — but traffic was disrupted for about an hour while the scene was processed.
A spokesman said both would appear in court “in the near future”.
Witnesses were asked to contact Sergeant Jordan Basden at 211 or by e-mailing jordan.basden@bps.bm.
