Ryan Taylor joins dispute resolution practice at Appleby
Ryan Taylor has joined Appleby’s dispute resolution practice as an associate.
The firm said Mr Taylor has broad experience with commercial disputes and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Appleby, the firm said, he practised at a leading corporate securities litigation firm in Toronto, where he acted as counsel in numerous high-profile class action disputes, including those involving allegations of securities manipulation and corporate oppression, among others.
He has also been involved in arguing motions for equitable relief, including Mareva injunctions and Norwich applications, and has been listed counsel in more than a dozen publicly reported decisions.
He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr Taylor worked for one of Canada’s largest insurers, where he focused on property & casualty and specialty lines.
