Daily service between Bermuda and Newark is to resume in March after a two-month reduction.

According to the March flight schedule, published online by Skyport, United Airlines will bolster its service to New Jersey effective March 8.

The service had been cut back to four weekly flights on January 6.

As of yesterday, the March schedule was otherwise a continuation of the February timetable.

American Airlines will continue to offer daily services to New York, Charlotte and Miami throughout the month

Delta Air Lines will maintain its three weekly flights to Atlanta and four weekly flights to New York, while JetBlue will continue to offer four weekly flights between Bermuda and Boston.

Air Canada will offer three weekly flights between Bermuda and Toronto, while British Airways will fly between Bermuda and London Heathrow five days a week.

BermudAir will continue to offer regular flights to seven different North American destinations.

The airline will offer five weekly flights to Boston and Westchester, three weekly flights to Toronto, two weekly flights to Baltimore and Orlando and weekly service to Fort Lauderdale and Halifax.

BermudAir earlier announced that it would launch flights to Bradley International Airport in Connecticut, Raleigh-Durham Airport in North Carolina and Charleston International Airport in South Carolina in April.
