Volante Global, the Bermudian-based specialist insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Aaron Brockwell to the newly-created role as head of outwards reinsurance.

The company operates a multi-class managing general agent and Lloyd’s Syndicate.

A Volante Global spokesman said: “With over 24 years’ experience within Lloyd’s, Aaron will be responsible for designing and purchasing optimal reinsurance solutions across Volante Global.

“Reporting directly to Roshni Lillies, the Syndicate’s chief underwriting officer and active underwriter, Aaron will play a pivotal role in ensuring we build a solid operational infrastructure to support and future-proof our reinsurance business.”
