Veteran real estate agent Margaret Young has been named Rego Sotheby’s International Realty’s top revenue agent for 2024.

Ms Young has been in the business for 45 years, and at Rego Sotheby’s for more than half of that time.

It was her second year in a row winning the accolade in the firm’s annual staff awards, handed out earlier this week.

“This is a testament to my dedicated 23 years with the company building upon my expertise in real estate and the strength of my client relationships,” she said.

Ms Young prides herself on being a real estate “matchmaker”, always trying to find the perfect property for a client.

Rego Sotheby’s also named Valerie Nearon as their top selling agent, by unit volume.

Ms Nearon said: “I have been dedicated to providing exceptional service to both new and returning clients for the past 22 years. My unwavering commitment to understanding and fulfilling their needs ensures that they find their perfect homes and rentals.”

For the first time in the firm’s history, Rego Sotheby’s announced a three-way tie for their 2024 top listing agent award. It went to Rhonda Casling, Valerie Nearon and Keegan Stirling.

Christina Georgopoulos received the top rental agent award for the second year in a row.
