Injured man flown overseas for treatment

A motorcyclist who suffered serious injuries in a crash at the weekend has been flown overseas for treatment, police said yesterday.
The 22-year-old man was injured after his bike was in collision with a taxi on Harrington Sound Road, near the junction of Town Hill Road, Smith’s.
His pillion passenger, a 21-year-old man, suffered a leg injury and was said to be “stable” on a general ward at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The incident happened at about 3.30am on Sunday.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
